The National Four Peaks

Introduction

This is where we'll provide links to past events that the Group (or members thereof) have already achieved - current or forthcoming events are published on the Home Page.  Some items are simply snippets of information for your reference, others contain links to take you to the relevant sources.

Jamboree 2003 - Thailand

The National Four Peaks
Two of the Scout Leaders - Dave Batten and James McConnon - took part in a challenge walk with friends and work colleagues to raise funds for the Group and the Premature Baby Unit at Kingston Hospital.  In June 1999, they set off to climb the highest peak in each of the four countries of the United Kingdom and Ireland - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Carrantuohill.  See the National Four Peaks page for a detailed account, which includes route plans for each peak.
